Serialization that fits your scale, at a fair price

Most pricing in pharma starts from enterprise assumptions. SecIdent does not. From small production sites to global corporations with dozens of partners, our tiered plans cover the scope that suits your business.

You pay a monthly plan plus a fee for the serials you run, and nothing for users or for products still on the bench. The plan sets your rate, your volume sets your bill, and you only move up a tier when it pays off.

The model

You pay per serial number.

There is one billed metric: active serial numbers. A serial is active from the moment it exists in SecIdent and can be worked with.

Owned serials are the serial numbers SecIdent generates for the packs you serialize.

Foreign serials are serial numbers generated elsewhere (for example by a MAH or a CMO you work with) and imported into SecIdent. Each one is stored on your behalf, so the fee is a little higher than for an owned serial.

Active status is independent of EMVS submission. Whether a pack has been uploaded to the European Hub, and how, has no bearing on whether its serial counts as active. A serial becomes inactive, and stops counting, only when you archive its batch in SecIdent. Archived serials are credited back.

Plans

One monthly base, two effects

A plan is a monthly base that does two things at once. It sets the fee per active serial number: the higher the plan, the lower the fee per serial. And it sets the working capacity of the platform: how many products (GTINs) you manage, how many workflows you automate, and how many partners (MAHs, CMOs, wholesalers) you connect.

A higher plan therefore suits a higher serial volume and a more integrated operation. A lower plan keeps the base small while your volumes are modest. You move up when the per-serial saving outweighs the higher base, not before.

Quotas (optional)

Prepay a serial volume for a flat, planable invoice

A quota is a fixed volume of active serial numbers, prepaid at a discount. As long as you stay within it, your invoice is the same every month, which makes serialization cost easy to plan and budget against your production schedule. Quotas are optional and sit on top of any plan.

Add-ons (optional)

Add only what your operation needs.

Extend SecIdent to your lines, your systems and the European Hub. Add-ons are optional and priced on request, because each depends on your systems and your obligations. BrainGate is a product in its own right and can also run with other serialization software.

  • Packaging-line and system middleware connects SecIdent to packaging lines and to third-party systems for serial provisioning, reporting and reconciliation.
  • File API Gateway exchanges serial and master data with partners and internal systems through a simple file-based interface.
  • Release validation documents give you validation documentation with each new release, for your own qualification and audit files.
  • BrainGate connects SecIdent to the EMVS European Hub, enabling integrated, automated master data, pack upload, updates and alerting. The integration itself is free. Using BrainGate requires an active BrainGate subscription, at a reduced rate for SecIdent customers. Most MAHs run SecIdent together with BrainGate, but it is optional: CMOs usually do not need it, since only the MAH submits packs to the EMVS, and a very small MAH can work without it too. Where there is no BrainGate, SecIdent exports PackData upload files that the MAH uploads manually through the EMVO Gateway.

Can I leave and keep my data?

Yes. Your master data, batches and serials are yours. You can export them and move on with no lock-in.

Does submission to the European Hub affect what I pay?

No. A serial is billed for being active in SecIdent, which is independent of whether and how the pack is submitted to the EMVS. Hub submission, whether automated through BrainGate or by manual PackData upload, has no bearing on the active count.

Does the per-serial fee run indefinitely?

It applies for as long as the serial stays active, which means as long as its batch is open in SecIdent. When you archive a batch, its serials go inactive, stop counting and are credited back.

Do I need BrainGate?

Only if you submit packs to the EMVS yourself, which is the MAH. Most MAHs use it for automated master data, pack upload, updates and alerting. CMOs usually do not need it, since they do not submit to the EMVS, and a very small MAH can use SecIdent to export PackData files and upload them manually through the EMVO Gateway. SecIdent runs with or without BrainGate.

How do quotas help?

What counts as an active serial number?

Owned serials are the ones SecIdent generates for the packs you serialize. Foreign serials are generated elsewhere, for example by a MAH or a CMO you work with, and imported into SecIdent. Each foreign serial is stored on your behalf.

What lowers the per-serial fee?

Your plan. The higher the plan, the lower the fee per active serial. Plans also raise the number of products (GTINs), workflows and partners the platform handles for you.
