Data exchange with other systems

Let SecIdent seamlessly exchange data with internal systems, external partners, and official platforms.

1. Create workflow

Give your workflow a name and specify the conditions under which and at what level it may be executed. You can also define parameters that can be entered by the user each time the workflow is executed.

You can specify what is logged when a workflow is executed and who is notified of successes or errors.

2. Specify endpoints

Specify the targets for data exchange. These can range from a simple file on your desktop to the RESTful API of public third-party systems.

Endpoints can be public targets accessible via the Internet or systems that are only available locally on your network. Authentication data can also be stored here.

3. Define format and data

You are completely free to choose the format in which you want to send data to or receive data from the endpoint. XML, JSON, and CSV are the most common standards here.

In terms of content, our powerful template engine gives you complete freedom to choose which data and attributes you want to transfer.

4. Regulate processing

After successful sending or receiving, you can control how data is transformed and further processed, if necessary.

Successful or failed workflows can also result in a new status for the underlying data record (e.g., the batch).

Bonus: Prevents vendor lock-in

Workflows embody one of SecIdent's core principles: you are always in control of your data.

Transfer it flexibly to third-party systems in the format of your choice at any time. This allows you to remain independent of SecIdent.
