SecIdent generates serial codes cryptographically. Each SecIdent batch consists of consecutively numbered serial numbers. As soon as a code is queried, the corresponding serial number is encrypted using cryptography and becomes a ciphertext of the original serial number.

Because serial codes are not stored as database entries, this approach makes the system virtually unlimited in scalability.

SecIdent is also designed to operate reliably and stably, even during periods of high demand. There is no loss of security or processing speed, even with very high scan volumes.
