Attribution at product, batch, and item level
SecIdent allows attributes to be assigned at product, batch or item level. These can be adjusted at any time to allow different versions to be mapped.
SecIdent enables attributes to be assigned at different levels. Each attribute can be assigned to an entire number range, a specific batch, or an individual item.
The assignment of attributes is not static, but can be adjusted as needed. If a product is changed during its life cycle, attributes that were originally assigned to the number range (= product) can be assigned to a batch. This allows different versions of products or batches to be mapped without having to duplicate or manually adjust existing data.
This approach significantly reduces maintenance effort, increases clarity, and enables precise management of product information across all levels.
