With SecIdent's accounting program, you always know how many serial numbers have actually been printed and which items are entering the market.
After the serial number has been printed, its legibility is checked. Illegible copies are automatically sorted out and reported back to SecIdent via the accounting program. This allows you to keep track of which serial numbers are actively in circulation and which have been discarded.
